The PH Outdoors CRIMPER is a versatile and durable solution for managing cover crops, available in 6′, 8′, and 10′ models, as well as a 4′ tow-behind option for ATVs and UTVs. Designed with a cylindrical drum and angled blades, it crimps and flattens crop stems without cutting them, forming a natural mulch layer that helps suppress weeds, retain soil moisture, and reduce erosion. Ideal for no-till and reduced-till farming, the PH Outdoors CRIMPER promotes healthier soils, reduces the need for herbicides, and supports sustainable agricultural practices.
The standard 3-point Crimper comes in 6ft, 8ft, and 10ft widths. Unlike some of our competitors, that number is the actual working width of the implement. Weight is a key factor when crimping cover crops so the Crimper has been properly engineered to not only terminate the plants effectively, but also to last a long time.
Whether you want the convenience of using a UTV, or just don’t have a tractor suitable for a larger Crimper, the 4′ tow behind is the perfect choice. The Crimper 4′ is built to the same standards as our 3-point units, but can be towed by an ATV or UTV over 800cc or a small tractor and is easily managed by one person in the field when flipping the unit from transport mode to crimping mode.
These crimpers are also sold as the Goliath 4, 6, 8 and 10.
